Hi everyone!

As so many of you had been asking us if soy’b’ planning committee could provide alternatives for those who wish to avoid long queues, we have hence decided to hold meetup for payment of soyb tickets! What’s more is that the tickets will be ready for collection as well! So if you would like to purchase the tickets OR have already purchased and would like to collect them, please take note of the meetup details seen below kays?

Meet Up on 28th January

Time: 7pm-9pm
Venue: Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Block 72, 03-07
(We’ll paste a sign outside the door!)

Meet Up on 29th January
Time: 4pm-8pm
Venue: Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Sitting area outside Cheers, right in front of the bus stop.
(We’ll make a SOY ‘B’ sign and place it on the table!)

Please note that we will still have a ticketing booth for the others on the event day itself for payment/collection of tickets. The meetups held as seen above are only for the convenience of those who wish to prevent long queues on the event day. For those whom have already made your payment or have preordered the tickets, please remember to print and bring along the relevant confirmation emails, together with your IC/student pass for verification purposes. thanks!

To all booth owners:

I have just sent out the final confirmation email to all of you! :D

The floor map should be attached in the email as well, indicating the location of your booth in the event hall.

Hello everyone!

  1. For those who wish to purchase the tickets before the event to prevent any long queues, you may go down to Pan-in-the-Box’s Chinatown outlet on 23rd Jan 2010, Saturday, from 2pm to 6pm to purchase them.For those who have pre-ordered, but have yet to paid, please bring along your confirmation email with your ID.
    Please note that all tickets bought after 10th Jan 2010 will be priced at $5 each.

    However, please note that we will be providing receipts, rather than the actual tickets as printing is still in process.

    If you wish to purchase or collect the actual tickets prior to the event, we will be arranging another meet up at Ngee Ann Polytechnic between 28th to 29th Jan 2010.

Hello everyone!

We are pleased to announce that the first prize for the Solo Cosplay Competition will be a Digital Camera.

Therefore, the deadline for registration for the Solo Cosplay Competition will be extended to Tuesday, 12th January.

We will also be having a Photography Contest during the event. Prizes include Photography equipment and accessories!

We have been told that many had went to Pan in the Box asking about SOYB Pre-order Tickets. We like to inform everyone that We are only selling the Pre-order tickets via these 2 methods:

  1. online via the Pre-order form, which the closing date will be on the 10th of Jan 2010 2359Hrs. CLICK HERE
  2. Come down to Japanese Tsubasa Club booth at the Ngee Ann Poly Open house, at Atrium right in front of the POSB ATM.  We will be there on Friday and Saturday [8&9th Jan] from 11am to 6pm. Directions can be found HERE

Due to it is our school’s Open house there are free Shuttle Bus from Clementi MRT station From 10am to 5pm. Once you drop at Ngee Ann Poly bus stop. The Atrium is on the right of it, we are there, If you are lost, Just ask any Ngee Ann  Ambassadors or Students on how to get to the Atrium.

Do not worry if you have not paid by the 10th if you Pre-order the tickets online, For those that picked bank transfer, Please pay by the 20th Jan 2010.  OR just come down on event day itself to pay and pick them up.

Hey folks,  if you stated in your booth registration or pre-order ticket forms for Meet ups.

You can come down to Ngee Ann Poly over the next 3 days [7th,8th and 9th Jan] and make payment,

YES, it is the Ngee Ann Poly Open house, so there will be FREE shuttle bus from Clementi MRT station to Ngee Ann.

All you got to do is to find us at Japanese Tsubasa Club booth at the Atrium [opposite of the POSB ATM], Bring a print out of the email we send to you or some ID.

We will be there from 11am to 6pm on all 3 days.

For booth owners, If you have not received any email on how to make payment please do email us at pr[at]soy-japtsubasa[dot]net. Booth Payment HAVE to be made by the 10th of Jan 2010.  Do note that if you receive an email saying that you are on the waiting list, booth payment details will be send out only after the 10th of Jan if we have extra booth space.

Interested to join our Karaoke competition? Please register via our website, CLICK HERE . Please note that Registration close on the 1oth of Jan 2010, and we will be having an audition on the 15th of Jan 2010. Details of the audition will be send to you at a later date.

Rules and Condition for SOYB ‘10 Karaoke competition:

Please register before 10th of Jan 2010, 2359 Hours

• The song to be performed must either be by a Japanese artist/group OR from a Japanese anime/movie/drama.

• Please send in a voice-less track of the song to pr@soy-japtsubasa.net with the subject: “Music File: (name of song ) for (your name).”

Please send the mp3 as soon as possible after your registration.

• Please note that you have to burn a copy of the song in an CD in CD format (not mp3) and pass to us the CD on the audition day.

• We will hold an audition on the evening of 15th of Jan 2010.

• The Judges’ and JTC’s decision is final.

• Only a wireless or wired hand microphone will be provided for the competition.

Hi to all dearies out there

As far as everyone is concerned, i shall do some updates to all. Do pardon me if the words are making you dizzy!

1) SOYB karaoke competition

To all interested in joining SOY ‘B’ karaoke competition, a registration form will be up after the new year, so stay tuned to this space!

Auditions will be held on 10th 15th January, so please keep this date free if you’re interested in joining the competition. Slots are very limited, so hurry and register if you’re interested!

2) Booth registration

Just a tiny reminder, please note that in order to complete your registration, we require all payment to be made by 10th of Jan 2010. Your registration will be voided if payment is not made by then.

Also, we will only be holding meetups at Orchard mrt from 28th December 2009 till 2nd January 2010. Afterwhich, all meetups will be held at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Frequently-Asked Questions:

The mounting board is about 1m by 1m, table is 130cm by 61cm.

Power points will only be allocated to booth owners whom have requested for them.

Booths layout and further details will only be released after the booth registration closes (8th January 2010).

3) Pre-ordering SOYB tickets

There should be a confirmation message that your details have been forwarded to us after you have filled and submitted the ticket pre-order form. Should any error occur in the midst of your ticket pre-order submission, fret not. All you need to do is email us at ticketing@soy-japtsubasa.net together with the particulars which you have filled up in the form previously and we will be more than willing to do a check for you if we have received it or not. Also, any enquiries regarding pre-ordering of SOYB tickets may be directed to the email address as provided above as well.
